Jmeter book review

I have only seen one Jmeter book it is “Apache Jmeter A Practical Beginners Guide to Automated Testing and Performance Measurement for you Websites” by Emily H. halili published by Pakt publishers in 2008.

In summary, if you are an experienced performance tester interested in using a different tool then don’t bother buying this book. I found that time spent watching some of the YouTube videos and a few google search taught me as much as this book offers.

If you want a simplistic introduction to Jmeter testing the simplest of websites and you don’t like watching YouTube videos then you may get some value from the book but beware you will still need to learn more to use the tool effectively.
