Reducing POSTS on Oracle Forms

I have recently been working with a customer trying to reduce the number of POST made between a client and the Oracle Forms server. This is a big issue for them as they have an international users base and each POST is a hop across the WAN. We had noticed that the even a very simple form which had just 1 text block, 1 text item and a button still required 6 POST to open the form. However, the form used the WebUtil library which it didn’t need as it did not need to integrate tightly with the client browser. Once the dependency on WebUtil was removed the number of POST reduced to 2 to open the form.
